Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill are part of the Roma Pass network. Roma Pass does not allow: access to the Palatine Museum and to the other sites included in the SUPER ticket access to the Colosseum Arena, Underground and Belvedere. Roma Pass holders access from a dedicated entrance always accompanied by an authorized tour guide.
Colosseum
The Colosseum was constructed with several different materials: wood, limestone, tuff, tiles, cement, and mortar. Construction of the Colosseum began under the rule of Vespasian in around 70–72 AD (73–75 AD according to some sources). The Colosseum had been completed up to the third story by the time of Vespasian's death in 79.
